[ARCHIVED] You May Need A Burning Permit

Burning wood without a permit is only allowed in a commercially manufactured outdoor fireplace with screening. If you plan to burn in an open fire pit, contact the Hartland Fire Dept. to obtain a recreational outdoor burning permit for a cost of $20.
