FBI National Academy

Above & Beyond

This program is sponsored by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and was established in 1935 by J. Edgar Hoover. The purpose of the academy is to bring together law enforcement executives from around the world and participate in a 10-week structured training program held at the FBI Training Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Each session (four per year), four police executives from Wisconsin police agencies are selected to attend and represent their agency at the academy. Each session will graduate approximately 300 law enforcement executives from around the world.
