Board of Review (Assessments)

Regular Meetings

The Board of Review meets annually during the 45-day period beginning the fourth Monday of April. If the assessment roll is not completed, the board will adjourn to a later date.

Open Book and Board of Review are held in the Board Room, Municipal Building, 210 Cottonwood Avenue.

Open Book

Tuesday, May 14, 2026 from noon - 2 p.m.

The 2026 Open Book will be conducted with the Village Assessor via phone, email or in person on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from noon to 2:00 p.m. as needed.  In person meetings will be held in the Board Room of the Municipal Building, 210 Cottonwood Avenue. Appointments are required.  The assessor can be reached by email at: mikes@catalisgov.com  or by phone at: 262-253-1142 (email is preferred) anytime before the end of the Open Book.

About the Board

Open book is held annually and provides for property owners to meet with the assessor for an informal review of their property assessment. Open Book is always held before the Board of Review meeting. The dates and time for Open Book and Board of Review are published on the village website, as well as in the Waukesha Freeman.
