Winter Parking

WINTER PARKING RESTRICTIONS

Winter parking restrictions are in effect from November 1^st through March 31^st. Parking restrictions prohibits parking on all Village streets between the hours of 2:00 AM to 8:00 AM. 

Any vehicle remaining in violation of this section for six hours after removal notice has been posted on said vehicle may be towed and owner responsible for the costs for said towing and storage. Notice of removal shall be in the form of a notice or placard affixed to the vehicle. Costs for towing and storage shall be in addition to any forfeiture imposed by the court upon conviction for violation of this section.

PARKING CITATION PAYMENTS

If you have received a parking citation, payment for this must be made at the Hartland Police Department within 5 days. Payment can be made in person during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) or by mailing the exact amount to 210 Cottonwood Ave, Hartland, WI 53029 (must be postmarked within 5 days).

PARKING CITATION FEES

 Issued citation: $25.00 ($75.00 for handicap parking).

• After 5 days: $50.00 ($150.00 for handicap parking).
• After 30 days and the citation having been referred to the department of transportation for a suspension of registration.
• If the citation is contested and transferred to the Lake Country Municipal Court for adjudication: $92.50 ($187.00 for handicap parking).
